On June 17, 2024, at 6:48 am, an altercation broke out on a train between two men due to one of them playing their phone audio too loudly. The conflict escalated into a physical fight before the conductor intervened, called the police, and asked the two men to disembark. The entire incident was captured on the conductor's recording device. Instances like these have led to an increasing number of conductors equipping themselves with video recording devices for self-protection against sudden train incidents. The conductor also highlighted the need for conductors to purchase self-defense equipment such as pepper spray at their own expense, due to the rising number of disruptive incidents on trains.
