The U.S. government has raised security concerns about TikTok's ties to China, prompting the urgent need for a sale. Various financial groups, including Blackstone and Andreessen Horowitz, are also exploring options to buy out TikTok's Chinese investors. This situation comes after a 2024 law required ByteDance to divest TikTok amidst fears of Chinese government influence.
