While demand initially spiked as air travel resumed, causing ticket prices to rise, the trend is now seen as moderating as consumers become more price-sensitive due to inflation. Fares in the Asia-Pacific region have notably dropped around 16% year-on-year, with experts expecting a rebalancing of supply and demand throughout 2024.
