The mummified male victim from a homicide case in Changhua County was found with missing palms and legs forming an 'eight' shape. Forensic expert Kao Dacheng analyzed three possible scenarios for the disappearance of the victim's palms, suggesting that the case should not have been closed as 'cause of death unknown' lightly. Kao pointed out possibilities such as animal bites, accidental dropping during transportation, or deliberate mutilation. He also advised further investigation into possible drug use or poisoning due to the missing jaw tissue on the victim's body.
