Wipro Exceeds Q1 Revenue Expectations Driven by U.S. Client Demand

Reported about 15 hours ago

Wipro, India's fourth-largest IT services firm, reported a revenue of 221.35 billion rupees ($2.57 billion) for the June quarter, surpassing analysts' expectations. The company anticipates its Q2 revenue will range between $2.56 billion and $2.61 billion, bolstered by growth in its Americas operations despite uncertainty in the broader IT landscape. While three segments saw declines, health and communications played a crucial role in revenue growth. Wipro secured $5 billion worth of deals, a notable increase from the previous quarter.
