According to Apple Daily News, on June 15, 2024, at 5:49 a.m., at least 20 people in Taiwan were scammed by cybercriminals who pretended to have tickets to Jacky Cheung's '60+ World Tour' in Taipei and induced them to transfer money, totaling losses exceeding NT$300,000. The Criminal Investigation Bureau reported that victims, mostly female, purchased tickets through online social networks but did not receive any ticket information post-transfer. Police have arrested a suspect, Mr. Zhou, on charges of fraud. Scammers used various personal bank accounts for fraudulent transactions.
