Australia's National Australia Bank (NAB) has announced a projected $85 million increase in expenses after finding that some staff had been underpaid. The bank is currently reviewing its payroll systems, which began in 2019, and is working with relevant unions to address the issue. Despite this challenge, NAB reported a slight increase in third-quarter earnings, with business and home lending growing during the period.
