Australia's regulator, the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission (ACCC), has expressed concerns regarding Olam Agri Holdings Ltd.'s proposed A$144 million takeover of Namoi Cotton Ltd. The ACCC is worried that the acquisition could lead to reduced competition in cotton ginning services in the Lower Namoi Valley in New South Wales, potentially resulting in higher costs for growers. The watchdog is seeking submissions by July 4 to address these concerns.
