According to TVBS News Network, the average height of 18-year-old teenagers in Taiwan has been announced, with girls reaching an average of 161.2cm, growing by 0.5cm, while boys have shrunk by 1.2cm, averaging only 172.1cm. Doctors attribute this trend to factors such as high childhood obesity rates affecting growth hormone secretion and lack of exercise during the COVID-19 pandemic.
