All four major airlines in Taiwan, including China Airlines and Starlux Airlines, have reported excellent revenue performances in May with a significant increase in passenger demand and strong cargo demand. Looking ahead, China Airlines has increased flight frequencies by 25% compared to the same period last year, expecting a continued increase in passenger traffic. Starlux Airlines has introduced special themed flights to attract more passengers during the summer peak season. Tigerair Taiwan is optimizing its flight network by expanding routes to Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia and increasing flight frequencies. China Airlines, Starlux Airlines, and Tigerair Taiwan have all achieved record-high revenues in May, driven by continuous growth in passenger and cargo operations.
