In order to create a 'Smart Technology Island' and enhance semiconductor competitiveness to achieve the current government's goal of balancing Taiwan, the National Science Council (NCS) has restructured its personnel with a 'North-South shuffle'. NCS appointed Chen Tsung-Chuan from administrative deputy director to the new director of the Hsinchu Science Park, while the vacant deputy director position is filled by Su Chen-Kang, who was previously the director of the Southern Science Park. These changes aim to boost the development of the technology industry in southern Taiwan and promote the growth of various science parks, contributing significantly to the country's technological advancement and economic growth.
