The Central Weather Bureau issued an immediate message for thunderstorms to 6 counties and cities nationwide, warning of heavy rain until 17:45 on July 3. Chiayi County's mountainous areas have a probability of localized heavy or torrential rain, with other areas including Taoyuan, Taichung, the mountainous regions of Kaohsiung, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Nantou also facing similar risks. Throughout the day, the bureau will closely monitor and issue alerts to areas where heavy rain poses threats. Public are advised to be aware of thunderstrikes, strong gusts, and landslides.
