Australia's Bega Group has secured a buyer for its peanut processing assets, planning to close the Peanut Company of Australia (PCA) while potentially saving around 30 of the 150 jobs at risk. The company will sell the land, buildings, and equipment from its Queensland facilities to Crumpton Group, aiming to support affected workers during the transition. Despite the closure, Bega will continue peanut butter production at its Port Melbourne site.
