German consumer goods firm Beiersdorf, known for its Nivea brand, reported first-quarter sales slightly above market forecasts, with a 3.6% organic sales growth reaching 2.69 billion euros. The derma division saw an impressive 11.4% increase, although sales of the luxury brand La Prairie fell by 17.5% amid a challenging Chinese market. Despite the impact of U.S. tariffs, CEO Vincent Warnery emphasized the company's strong positioning in emerging markets.
