In the scorching heat of Nan Tianwan in Tainan, a report reveals that barefooted swimmers experienced burns after just 20 seconds of contact with the floor around the swimming pool. The ground temperature was measured up to 52 degrees Celsius, causing discomfort and injuries to both children and adults. To prevent burns, it is advised to avoid walking barefoot on hot surfaces, especially in the extreme summer heat.
