To help people discern between real and fake text messages, the Taiwan Water Corporation posted examples of genuine and fraudulent messages for the public to differentiate. The company advises not to click on suspicious links that demand immediate payment or personal information, and instead recommends checking the bill details on the official website or contacting their customer service hotline for verification. In collaboration with the Ministry of Interior's National Police Agency, measures and resources are available to prevent falling victim to scams, including reporting incidents promptly to prevent financial losses.
