According to SET News on June 10, 2024, the Parliament Expansion Act will reach the Executive Yuan for reconsideration this week. If no decision is made within 15 days, the expansion law will automatically expire. Both the blue and green camps plan to hold nationwide campaigns before the vote. The DPP has organized the 'Green Bird Outreach' event to rally public support against the Parliament's expansion, involving themed giveaways for participants, starting in Hualien on the 14th. The first campaign in Hualien will be followed by a face-off in Tainan on the 15th, with the KMT countering with the 'Blue Bird Initiative' to challenge the DPP. The Executive Yuan's reconsideration is expected soon, with a possible vote on the 21st, setting the stage for a direct confrontation between the two camps.
