Premier Cho Jung-tai stated that when people voted, there was no authorization for the expansion of powers by public opinion agencies, and representatives of public opinion should adhere to the contract between them and the voters. The amendment to the 'Legislative Yuan's Exercise of Powers Act' led by the Blue and White coalition has caused dissatisfaction among many people, leading to calls for the recall of Blue Camp regional legislators. However, the proposed amendment to the 'Recall Law' to raise the recall threshold has not gained support from the DPP and the People First Party currently.
