During the Blue Hawk Operation event held by the KMT to support parliamentary reform, individuals were seen holding flags with 'Nazi' symbols, leading DPP legislator Hsu Chih-Chieh to question the connection. The KMT responded by strongly refuting Hsu's claims as deceitful and clarified that the group holding the Nazi flags was unrelated to the KMT and was protesting the Nazi era confiscation of old German Marks. The KMT criticized Hsu for making baseless allegations without verification, branding it as lowbrow politicking that risks international ridicule and condemnation.
