Boeing has informed suppliers that it is pushing back its goal for 737 jet family production by three months, aiming now to reach 42 aircraft per month in September instead of June. The decision comes as Boeing faces challenges following a safety incident earlier in the year, with production slowing due to regulatory scrutiny and supply constraints. Despite delays, Boeing remains cautious about supply pressures easing, while rival Airbus is also bracing for disruptions. Boeing's shares dropped 2.2% following the announcement.
