Boeing shifts engineers to focus on commercial planes

Reported 8 months ago

Boeing has temporarily shifted some engineers from the X-66A experimental plane project to support commercial development programs and speed up deliveries of existing jets. This move aims to meet commitments on 737-7, 737-10, 777-9, and 777-8F airplane deliveries, amidst safety concerns. The X-66A project with NASA aims to develop a more sustainable single-aisle aircraft with unique features like a 'transonic truss-braced wing'.
