According to a report by 'Military.com' on June 28, 2024, Boeing has decided to invest heavily in expanding the defense aerospace park near St. Louis International Airport in Missouri, aiming to enhance research and production capacity for future new generation fighters, satellites, and other products. Boeing has already invested up to $1.8 billion in the area, with plans to establish a new advanced assembly facility by the second quarter of 2025. Boeing's site leader for the area, Nolande, mentioned a new facility set to be completed in 2026, called the 'Advanced Fighter Jet Base,' highlighting Boeing's determination towards the U.S. Air Force's 'Next Generation Air Dominance Program.'
