U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Texas seized over $5.4 million worth of methamphetamine concealed in a papaya shipment at the Pharr International Bridge on May 9. The 606 pounds of meth was found during a secondary inspection, leading to the discovery of 369 packages. The drugs, valued at $5,419,700, were hidden in the tractor-trailer. Homeland Security Investigations is looking into the incident, although it remains unclear if any arrests have been made.
