29-year-old Bruna Alexandre, a table tennis player from Brazil, has been selected to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics, making her the first Brazilian to participate in both the Olympics and Paralympics. Despite losing her right arm due to a blood clot at a young age, Alexandre has already won medals at the Rio 2016 Paralympics and Tokyo 2020. She is determined to become a Paralympic champion and uses other sports like skateboarding and futsal for training. The Olympic table tennis events are scheduled from July 27 to August 10, followed by the Paralympics starting on August 28.
