Illustration of the crime scene. In Chiayi City, early this morning at around 3 am, a man went to the residence of his ex-wife's current boyfriend, killed the man, and fled. The police tracked down the suspect found hiding in a motel 600 meters away. Around 9 am, they attempted to arrest him and discovered he had shot himself. Despite emergency medical treatment, he did not survive. Details of the case are still under investigation.
