Recently, due to the continuous high temperatures, in a construction site on Chung Hsiao Road in Banciao District, New Taipei City, a 49-year-old worker surnamed Liu collapsed on the 15th-floor scaffolding during work, suspected unable to withstand the heat. His colleagues immediately called an ambulance, but despite emergency treatment at the hospital, he was pronounced dead.
