On June 8, 2024, around 2 p.m., three small cars and one van collided in a chain reaction at the southbound exit of Caotun Interchange on National Freeway No. 3 in Taiwan, causing a fifth-grade boy in the back seat to bleed from his nose and a middle-aged woman in another car to feel dizzy and be sent to the emergency room. The Caotun Fire Brigade responded, providing basic first aid to the boy and transporting both the boy and the dizzy female driver to Caotun Yumin Hospital for observation. Detailed investigation into the accident's cause and liability is pending police clarification.
