In Kaohsiung, the longtime chief of the surgery department at Ciou General Hospital, aged 56, Xu Jinghua, was found deceased at home on the morning of July 8th. After being unable to reach him, staff went to his home in Qianjin District where no one responded to knocks on the door. It was only after contacting the chief's wife that they entered the home and discovered Xu Jinghua lying dead. Police, upon arrival, confirmed no signs of forced entry and are currently investigating the cause of death, while the hospital is refraining from confirming his passing.
