On June 30, 2024, at around 3:00 PM, a male body was discovered floating at Pier 97 in Taichung Harbor, believed to be a delivery driver who went missing after swimming due to the hot weather on the 26th of this month. The man, a resident of Qing Shui, is presumed dead for some time. Police are investigating further details while contacting his family for identification.
