In Pingtung, a Mercedes-Benz car reversed and nearly hit two police officers, who fired warning shots to deter the vehicle. Despite the shots, the car resisted inspection and escaped even after police fired 14 shots towards it. The suspect is still at large, with authorities intensively pursuing the individual to bring them to justice. Two officers sustained minor injuries during the encounter.
