According to Chinatimes News Network, on July 8, 2024, around 12:30 pm in Banqiao District at the intersection of Hansheng East Road and Quyun Road, a 24-year-old surnamed Lin fell from his 19th-floor residence and died on the spot. Earlier, in a case where a 24-year-old repeat offender in Banqiao was surrounded, he jumped to his death out of fear. Lin was under investigation for crimes in the Taoyuan and Tainan regions when he attempted to escape by jumping from his residence, leading to his accidental death. The police have sealed off the scene for further investigation.
