A serious traffic accident occurred in New Taipei City today (26th), where a man surnamed Chen (31 years old) driving a sandbag-filled truck collided with another parked large truck on Fuxing Road in Lujhou District around noon, for unknown reasons. The strong impact deformed the truck severely and scattered multiple boxes of mineral water from its cargo bucket on the ground. The truck also affected several parked motorcycles nearby, but fortunately, there were no casualties, only vehicle and property damage. The Lujhou Police Station rushed to the scene for investigation, while the cause of the accident and liability are still under investigation.
