A shocking incident occurred on Wanda Road in Wanhua District, Taipei City on the morning of June 26, 2024, when a truck lost control and veered onto the sidewalk for unknown reasons, damaging a bus stop, benches, and a transformer box. Two pedestrians waiting for the bus were unable to dodge in time and were injured in the collision, both suffering fractures and being taken to the hospital. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the police. Wanhua Police Station advises all road users to ensure the proper functioning of their vehicles before driving to ensure road safety.
