After the Brewers' game against the Cubs on June 30, 2024, an accident occurred at the American Family Field, the Brewers' home stadium, where an electric escalator malfunctioned, resulting in 11 fans getting injured. The malfunction caused the escalator to accelerate while fans were descending, with 5 receiving treatment onsite and 6 taken to the hospital, fortunately without life-threatening injuries.
