Recently, controversies over priority seats on Taipei Metro have sparked discussions, with some individuals opting to bring their own seats onboard. A man was spotted on the subway with his own computer chair, sparking laughter among netizens who dubbed him the 'Subway Smart King.' Taipei Metro reminded passengers that disruptive behavior, causing damage to equipment, operational disturbances, or posing risks, may lead to refusal of service. According to regulations, passengers can carry chairs as carry-on luggage, but placing them in certain areas may result in fines ranging from 1500 to 7500 NTD if warnings are disregarded.
