Brittney Griner made her season debut for the Phoenix Mercury, scoring 11 points and grabbing four rebounds as the team beat the Minnesota Lynx 81-80. Kahleah Copper was the star of the night with 34 points, including a game-winning 3-pointer. With Griner back in the lineup and Bec Allen also returning, Phoenix showcased its potential with a strong performance against the West-leading Lynx. The Mercury now have a 5-6 record and look to continue their success against the Dallas Wings in their next game.
