Brothers Jump into Riverbank to Rescue Dog, Taoyuan Police Use Ladder for Rescue

On June 10, 2024, in the morning around 5:24, the Zhongli police received a report from the Zhou brothers who were stuck on the riverbank while trying to rescue their dachshund. The police dispatched officers to assist and successfully rescued the brothers from a nearly 3-meter-high riverbank. The brothers, aged 21 and 20, had jumped into the riverbank to save their dog 'La Chang', but found themselves unable to get back up. Fortunately, they had a phone to call for help. After the police located them, they used a ladder and tactical belt to rescue them safely. The Zhongli police reminded the public to evaluate situations carefully and prioritize personal safety in emergency rescue actions, suggesting immediate calls to 119 or 110 for assistance.
