On July 2, 2024, a netizen discovered a bug on the Yamatomi Travel Agency website offering Jetstar flights from Taiwan to Osaka round-trip for only 1,613 NTD. This led to a frenzy of ticket purchases, causing the website to become overloaded. A flight expert advised purchasers to use the booking code on the official website for confirmation and recommended booking flexible accommodations in case of changes. Many users successfully purchased tickets with some receiving official confirmation from Jetstar Airlines. The bug attracted a lot of buyers, causing the website to crash and preventing further purchases.
