Lonzo Ball of the Chicago Bulls revealed that he underwent a rare meniscus transplant procedure on his left knee, in addition to a cartilage transplant, due to multiple tears and damage sustained over the years. Although Ball has not played since January 2022, he remains optimistic about returning for the upcoming season, estimating his knee to be about 70% recovered and expressing a desire to be ready for the first game of the season. Nonetheless, there are uncertainties regarding his future playing status and its impact on the team's salary cap.
