Despite a 30-point deficit, Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides explains that star players Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston wanted to continue playing to fight and show pride in a game against New York Liberty. Unfortunately, both players sustained injuries during their short time on the court, with Clark getting hit in the ear and Boston injuring her ankle. The Fever ended up losing the game 104-68, dropping their season record to 2-9, and there were no immediate updates on the severity of the players' injuries.
