A Southern California socialite, Rebecca Grossman, was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for the hit-and-run deaths of Mark Iskander, 11, and his brother Jacob, 8, who were fatally struck while crossing the street. Grossman was found guilty on charges including second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter, and hit-and-run driving resulting in death. The judge called her actions reckless and negligent, sentencing her to two concurrent 15-years-to-life sentences for the tragic incident that occurred in Westlake Village in 2020.
