Can the Taipei Dome hold concerts? Ministry of the Interior: Taipei City Government should decide on its own

Reported 9 months ago

Regarding the possibility of holding concerts at the Taipei Dome, the Ministry of the Interior reiterated that the Taipei City Government should make its own decision. Despite the ongoing leaking issues, the public is eager for concerts at the Taipei Dome, with superstar Jay Chou keeping his August schedule open pending the dome's response. The Ministry pointed out that local governments should handle large event planning and approval, reaffirming the Taipei City Government's responsibility to make decisions as per 2017 directives. Concerts, considered as events, do not require specific building purposes, and various sports venues in Taiwan have hosted concerts in the past with safety plans submitted to local governments for approval.
