A woman in Taipei repeatedly shoplifted frozen beef ribs valued at around NT$500 each from a chain store near the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall using the same technique of placing the items into her bag and leaving without paying. After the store noticed the missing items and sought help from the police, they identified and monitored the woman. On her fifth attempt, she was stopped by store employees and then taken into custody by the police. The woman was found to have stolen the beef ribs five times and is now facing theft charges, emphasizing the importance of honesty during shopping and the implementation of security measures by businesses to prevent theft.
