Today in Taipei, Northeastern Taiwan, and mountainous areas in Central and Northern Taiwan, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the afternoon. While the frontal boundary is gradually moving northward away on June 19, most areas will experience cloudy to sunny weather, with scattered rainfall in the western half in the morning and a high chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 32 to 35 degrees, and precautions are advised for brief heavy rain, thunder, and strong gusts. Starting from Friday to Sunday, the weather will be generally sunny and hot, with temperatures reaching 33 to 35 degrees across the island, possibly higher in some regions, where sporadic afternoon thunderstorms may occur, particularly in mountainous areas. Outdoor activities should be accompanied by sufficient hydration due to the hot weather.
