During the central bank's board meeting on June 13, interest rates were kept unchanged but reserve requirements were increased along with the implementation of the 6th wave of policies to restrict housing loans in specific areas. Uni-President Securities Chairman Li Fangguo expressed optimism towards Taiwan Stock for the next day, despite the central bank's determination to curb housing speculation, which might pressure construction stocks in the short term. However, he noted that property prices may not necessarily be affected, and the fundamental outlook for construction stocks in the medium to long term remains positive.
