Heavy rain has already occurred in the mountainous areas of Taichung City and Nantou County, with a probability of localized heavy rain in Nantou, Miaoli, and the mountainous areas of Taichung tonight. Citizens are advised to beware of thunderstorms, strong gusts, and potential landslides, rockfalls, and flash floods in mountainous areas. Heavy rain alerts are in effect for Miaoli County, Taichung City, and Nantou County.
