Charter has reached a new agreement to offer Paramount+ to Spectrum TV customers.

Reported 6 months ago

Paramount Global has signed a new multi-year content distribution deal with Charter Communications, including the ad-supported versions of Paramount's direct-to-consumer services like Paramount+ Essential and BET+ Essential for no extra cost to Spectrum TV customers. Charter will also offer Paramount's products to its Internet-only customers and will receive revenue share for new paid subscriptions and ad-free upgrades, as the company navigates potential acquisition bids. Customers with Paramount+ Essential can upgrade to Paramount+ with Showtime plan, and Charter will continue carrying CBS and all of Paramount's current cable networks. Disney and Charter had a similar deal last year that brought back Disney networks to Spectrum.
