Chinese automaker Chery announced a 38.4% increase in global car sales for 2024, reaching 2.6 million vehicles, and it forecasts surpassing 3 million sales this year. The Wuhu-based company reported a revenue rise of over 45% to 480 billion yuan and confirmed its position as China's leading car exporter, shipping 1.14 million units abroad. Chery is set to increase its global market presence with new models from its Omoda and Jaecoo brands in Europe and plans to begin production in Spain through a joint venture.
