China's Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange high-temperature warning continuing into June 11, predicting temperatures above 35°C in parts of Southern Hebei, Northeastern China, Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Henan, Northern Anhui, Northern Hubei, Southern Shanxi, Western and Southeastern Inner Mongolia, Northern and Southern Xinjiang, and Northwestern Hainan. Some areas like Southern Hebei and Southern Xinjiang could exceed 40°C. The current high temperatures are among the most widespread and intense this year in Northern China, lasting 6-10 days in some areas, prompting the public to limit outdoor activities and take precautions against heatstroke.
