China Launches Probe into U.S. Chips Amid Trade Tensions

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) has initiated an anti-discrimination investigation regarding the effects of U.S. chip trade policies on the auto industry. Automakers are invited to provide feedback by October 13, following the commerce ministry's earlier announcement of investigations into U.S. chips, coinciding with upcoming U.S.-China talks.
